i decided to go against the 'soft top' route, eg: you are meant to paint the top of it black (to simulate the material effect) and also the roof is 'lumpy' too.. the main problem was cutting the masking tape edges tp be perfectly straight, even with a super sharp knife its nearly impossible, so i decided to paint the whole shell green..

Ya I really like this chassis but the rwd would not be good for drifting and just driving around might be a bit dull (I don't have a BL system like u )

well i found the M-03R dull, so i sold it and got this, even building the M03R bored me, and i usually love the builds!

i havent driven it yet, nor do i drift, so i cant comment on that..

Lee, reading your last post, if you think the Z3 body is ugly, why did you paint it???
is this build finished now then?

yes, i thought the Z3 was ugly, but its the cheapest M-04L to buy, plus i wanted the SLK as a shelf queen.. so bashing the Z3 wouldnt be a problem!

Nice build, Lee!

Although I think the rear would look better raised up hotrod-style! j/k

I prefer the SLK body too, although I'm a BMW-guy. The Z3 was the worst BMW-design ever!

the Z3 isnt nice, but i like MY Z3! the Z4 is a killer design, they look stunning but as ive said in the lounge, the Tamiya Z4 body is just horrible! maybe its because its a racing body, eg: flared arches, big spoiler, etc
