That looks like a knockoff...
I'd just get the M-03 and leave it FWD...

Can't you save up then? You could get a TT-01 RTR for pretty cheap if you can get a good deal on Tower.

Buy a used TT-01.
Most come with some hopups. Cover the tires with electrical tape and you can go drifting.

i personally would never buy a used one, so i cant comment on trusted sellers. personally i'd go here http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...P?&C=CAD&V=TAM

then all you gotta do is choose the body, there's a Supra, RX7, Impreza, Silvia, etc..

RTR TT-01's can be had for $155 from tower.
With those rebates you can get it for $125-130.

you can drift the M-03, just put some drift wheels on the rear, it takes skill, but you will soon get the hang of it

thats not me, but i did do a similar thing on tarmac

i am just saying that i have heard lots of stories about people having trouble on ebay etc buying used RC cars, also you never quite know the condition they are going to be in.. and to top it off you dont get the enjoyment of the build! i have bought 30+ off ebay, but all NIB and from big Japanese sellers that i trust totally.
