Default What Car Will Brushless Velineon Fit Into

I would like to install a Traxxas brushless Velineon VXL system and LIPO battery into a 1/10 scale electric car. What car kit will this system best fit?

The ESC of the Velineon kit is a little larger than most I think, so there might be a problem fitting in most vehicals.

Will it fit a TC5?

tc5=belt. BAD, Yeah the esc has a huge footprint, just dremel away a little of the chassis to make it fit. Go with a TC4.

Nope, the motor mounts on 1/18 scale cars use a 380 sized can if i remember correctly, Velioneon=540. But Castle creations makes a great 1/18 scale brushless kit for cheap.

How is belt bad? There is absolutely nothing wrong with a belt drive vehicle for this application.

Do you already have the VXL? If not there are other brushless systems out there that would have a smaller ESC. If you don't already have it you may want to research the problems people are having with the VXL wiring.
