Default Novak GT7

Bought one of these used and it didn't come with the connectors from the esc to motor. He says they don't come with connectors and that you're supposed to solder directly to the motor. Now, every esc/motor combo I've ever owned and used I've had connectors.

Is it true that the Novak esc's don't even come with the connectors?

Not every one of Novaks esc's comes without connectors I know that the XRS does, and the micro escs do but I'm not sure about the XRS. On every one of my cars I solder the wires from the esc to the motor

Ok thanks for the response. I know that connectors introduce a resistance point but I prefer them as I don't race and it makes maintenance easier.
