Default Lee's Tamiya FF-01 build thread

ive been wanting a full size front wheel drive for ages, the M-03R disapointed me, so hopefully this wont!

original VR6 body/decals go back in the box

i have a few hops ups already.. CF chassis, CF hollow gear shaft, aluminium heatsink, and turnbuckle tie rod/upper arm set and bearings (not pictured)

I'd be interested to hear your comparison between the M-03 and FF-01.. both being FWD... !!

with the exception of the Peugeot 306 (FF-02) and am unsure of the Clio, some places have it listed as an FF-01, but it is short wheelbase.

i like the fact that some of the FF-01's are just normal cars, eg: Beetle, Golf V5/VR6, there's so many racing replica's about and it can get a bit boring..

Bit greedy having all those NIB cars!! Fancy selling the Jaccs Accord? I really want one but can't find one anywhere [] What colour you painting the Golf, I think a nice Metallic blue would look nice!!

well the Cayenne is going to be metallic blue, so i was thinking a darker blue or red, or even white, those are the main colours of the GTI.

those Accords pop up from time to time, they are also the 'upgraded special' with some mild hop ups you dont get with a normal FF-01.

I think Golf Mk.3's also look good in [link=http://www.awesome-gti.co.uk/images/sale60.jpg]this[/link] colour, wouldn't know where to get it. Or maybe paint it in the paint used on the DF-02 Plasma Edge, PS-49 I believe it looks really nice. If ever your short of cash i call dibbs on the JACCS accord haha

might as well chuck some titanium screws at it.. and some TRF shocks, aluminium kingpins and aluminium flange lock nuts.
this is gonna be one light FF-01!! [8D]

i just wish the universals were more affordable, £20 is just too much.

i highly doubt it, these are the supposed only ones that will fit:

http://www.tamiyausa.com/product/rcp...&part_id=53172

i want to keep it Tamiya, so no 3racing or whatever

i can source FF-02 universals, but even they dont fit!
