Hey guys I am new to Rc and i bought a Sprint 2 Drift with the 350z body. When i first removed the wheels to clean the car, i noticed that when i put them back on, the rears were a little more inside then the front tires. Also, one side of the car seems to be higher than the other side. Some of the wheels are closer to the suspension than others. Is there a solution to this problem? Does it affect the car? Thanks

Hello

I'm new to this forum and also new to RC Drift!

I just purchased a HPI Sprint 2 Drift and would like to get some help from the pros here to get me started

1- I'm looking to get some Lipo batteries to have longer playtime as well as future proof if ever I want to go with Brushless motor in the near future. Could you please suggest me a model? I heard we should no go over 2S? I don't mind paying a bit more as long as it's worth it.

2- I ordered a few extra rear belt as I heard that's the weakest link of that car, I read somewhere on this thread that people suggest to change the pulley to a aluminium pulley and use Tough Racing belts? Can I have more info where to get that pulley?

Thanks in advance!!!

But wait. You can make it faster by getting a larger gear but you will have to go with a bigger belt too. If your gonna get the same size make sure you check how many teeth there is

Hey fellow RCers!

I am new To belt driven RC's and got a question regarding the 15t pulleys that come in the HPI Sprint. I'm building it for higher speeds and there isn't much info out there on this. I've seen a sprint with an 18t front and 21t in the rear, but that same person said it is quicker off the line but you lose 10mph on the top end. Does anyone have any advice on which way I should go to increase my top end? Also, any articles or site with knowledge would be awesome too!

Thanks!

Why not start by playing with the spur and pinion gears first. You can get enough speed to take flight just by changing the S/P gears and having a good power system.

I have, I'm passed all that. Does messing with the pulleys have any advantage or disadvantage?

thanks for your reply.

Default Rear belt and rocks

I've installed a piece of window screen under the motor and above the chassis, held by the upper frame screws next to the battery. And I put another piece of screen over the rear body mounts, laying on the upper frame above the rear belt. So far its working. I'll check in on my laptop later and see I I can post pics.

Yes the ESC. I'd get rid of that old one and go brushless.
