They can be adjusted by the turnbuckles if they're adjustable.

Hi.

I'm new to this forum but my life in the R/C started quite a few years ago. My first car was a HPI Sprint (that I still have), then I went to 1/10th nitro for a while but decided to change to 1/5 (that's an awesome scale but it takes too much time). Life took some turns and I sold the 1/5 but now I'm thinking of, slowly, doing some upgrades to my HPI Sprint (not a Sprint 2, still the first one). I've read that it's hard to get original parts from HPI but that there's a lot of aftermarket ones from China (I'm living in the UK, don't know about customs and duty).
What do you sugest for me to do (it's not for drift, it's for touring)? I'm completely outdated regarding ESCs, batteries and motors. As soon I'll have some pics to put here I'll post them, that way you can see what I have but the idea is to do a long term project, not buying a new car

Thanks

I would suggest that you find a good used car. The Sprint 2's chassis design makes it difficult to use lipos. I have two friends who received a Sprint 2's and they have both stopped using them. They both have enough parts to build two or three cars. They are both mechanically inclined. They didn't want to continue to waste the time, effort and money.

Hello

i just own a stock brand new Sprint 2 Flux

i saw on the box that it could reach 53mph with optionnal pinion gear and spur gear, and with a 2S lipo.

i would like to know what is the maximum consumption of the Flux ESC (in Ampere please), so i can take a lipo with enough power discharge rate

and also, if i take the optionnal part that HPI talk about to reach this max speed (34T pinon gear and 81T spur gear), is it really safe for the car, i mean, is it going to damage the car at long ?

thanks

Default 2012 HPI Falken Tire Porsche 911 GT3 RSR (HPI108220)

Back in 2013, a friend of mine bought one of the 2012 HPI Falken Tire Porsche 911 GT3 RSR (Part #: HPI108220) and I always loved the livery and colors of it! I wish I bought one for myself!

Since they're discontinued, they've been really difficult to find but so far, I've managed to locate a new clear body (Part #: HPI108370) so at this point, I'm trying to piece together the rest of the car, starting with the original chassis (Sprint 2 Sport) but I have a question about the original tires the RTR kit came with (referring to the blue Falken logo stamped on the tires)...

...did HPI sell these tires separately (if so, anyone know the Part #'s for them?) or could only get them if you bought the RTR kit?

So I'll see where this journey takes me but I really look forward to adding this to my collection! Please let me know if you or anyone you know is willing to sell theirs.

Sprint 2 Sport Chassis That Came With The Porsche 911 GT3...
