I usually do the same thing. This has turned into an interesting build so far. Is this the kit that has the motor in the front?

It is the interior from the first *cough*Kyosho*cough* Alpha Ten series that followed my Subaru when i bought it!I have a thin sheet of plastic under the drivers to support them and the interior, this is where the gearstick comes in,as it doubles for the fastening of the drivers and the plastic sheet

mechanizeddeath:feels like i have gone far off topic in your thread by now, please do let me know and i will delete my posts

Thats a nice car, like the blue color you used. The shocks really make it stand out also.

No that's totally fine! I never got around to finishing my build here, as I ended up being very busy for a few days and then wound up in the hospital with pneumonia! [:@][:@][:@]

So I am going to post a few more pictures now.

Here is the fully assembled gearbox with the silvercan installed.

Here are the front suspension arms, and two of the friction shocks.

I actually prefer friction shocks. They make the car more bouncy, and thus more fun. I like a little lack of control, I think it makes things more interesting.

I just decide tonight to build mine friction shock on the Alfa...instead of some oil filled...
