RE: RECIEVER HOOK UP QUESTION
I think you will need a BEC as the 101bk esc does not have one you will fry your servo and RX. That being said go on the tamiya website and they have the instructions you need.

RE: RECIEVER HOOK UP QUESTION
The SR3000 is rated up to 9.6 volts, but your servos probably aren't so I would use a BEC to step down the voltage to 6V as redfisher1974 mentioned

RE: RECIEVER HOOK UP QUESTION
Yep... tamiya receivers are retarded. This is how I plugged it into my sr300. Red plug in aux slot (black wire outside, red wire middle), then the other plug went in the throttle slot. You might have to shave some of the red plug down so it will fit. The esc has a built in BEC.

Dont you mean tamiya ESC's? and they dont have a built in BEC, You get the full voltage from the battery. That being said most cheap AM RX's have a bec but specky's do not.

RE: RECIEVER HOOK UP QUESTION
Redfisher is right, the TEU101BK does not have a built-in BEC. I measured the voltage coming off the red plug on my TEU, an it was the same as the battery voltage of my freshly charged pack, around 8.4 volts. Not good for your servo!

Nope that will not work, you need something like this: http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXSWL3&P=ML
Or this
