Did you get the Castle link or QFPC (quick field programming card)? If not, you are missing out on 60% of it's programming capability.

One of my Castle ESC's won't calibrate, either, using those darn beeps. Using the Castle link, calibration is done automatically. You can program everything you need with it. That ESCworks now, as it should, andall of my Castle systems (8) do as they should.

Irecommend the QFPC, as you can use it as a link, with a USB cable, and it will work with any Castle ESC.

Yes - if you have a Futaba radio, you'll most likely need to put the TH channel in REV.

1. Turn on controller. Pull throttle trigger to full throttle.
2. Turn on car. Keep your finger on the trigger with full throttle. You should hear the arming beep, a pause, and then a bunch of chimes. It's ready to calibrate. The little tune it played is saying it understands you want to calibrate and it sees full throttle.
3. Push throttle trigger to full brake. Wait for esc to chime again to let you know that it sees full brake.
4. Bring throttle trigger to neutral, or let go of the trigger. The esc will chime to say it sees neutral, followed by a pause, and then it will chime sorta the same tune to say that it's happily calibrated.

I had this issue last month. Spoke with a tech at Castle. Turned out that it was my older Magnum Jr wouldt give the proper signal for throttle. E ven though the transmitter works perfectly, it was a programming issue. Castle even sent me link for free.
