Seems like there are more and more people building Speed run cars. I haven't seen a thread dedicated to speed run discussion yet. So here it is! Post your vids, pics and setups here! Brag away!


I built a Losi 8ight 2.0 buggy for speed runs. It's running a Castle Mamba Monster 2200 system and 30/43 gearing. I have hit 106 mph with it. I have aslo just finished an Ofna GTP2e which us also running a MMM 2200 system. I have hit 110 mph with it running 34/36 gearing. I know it has potential to go much faster still!


So what are you running? what brushless systems are you running? Gearing Ect. Post up!

For anyone doing one of these cars for speed runs you need to get the RC Monster single speed conversion. It allows the use of Revo spur gears down to 34T. I got the 8mm (revo spur) for my GTP2e. Fits great!

Nice to see someone else looking for the top end.i had my tc4 up to 107mph before it took off the ground and still trying to get the video of my buddy.
