I wanna say solid 50 mph? I dont have a gps and not trying to risk my GS3. It is very quick though, its running on a very old custom sidexside pack made from cheapbatterypacks.com I'll have my new 2s lipo coming in tomorrow.

RE: OFFICIAL HPI Sprint 2 Thread (Sport and Flux)

Nice coolio, i think i'm around there maybe even 60. My whole goal is to get this thing haulin', i saw one on youtube that was supposedly going 90! we'll see though i need to figure out proper gearing and all.

here are some pics of some upgrades, aluminum arms, turnbuckles, steering, bulkheads(i thinkthere called) carbon upper deck, one way diff, rpm rod ends, new shocks. I also added a rear bumper that isn't the nicest looking but does the job:) And on the bottom i made a shield out of lexan to minimize debris to the belts/gears.

i'm rockin the stock battery in these shots, usually run 2s

Wow!

Nice ride! How she handle in the corners? Mines 100% stock minus the SV2/7700 combo. My new lipo should arrive any min(out for delivery). I picked up a 4k mah traxxas 2s soft case. I just wanted to play it safe first time around. I'll try to get pics up soon. The carbon fiber top deck does that eliminate the left wheel slop? what about those rpm ball links? Are you running 31mm tires all around? Also what gearing you running? sorry for all the questions..
RE: OFFICIAL HPI Sprint 2 Thread (Sport and Flux)

thanks dude! i don't mind answering ask away! (i'm no expert though so the knowledge is a bit limited) I would say that the carbon deck definately helps at least a little (i cracked the stock one in several places), the rpm links even more so. They stay pretty snug unlike stock ones that loosen up and warp after a couple "pop-offs". Yea those are 31's with 9mm offset rims, they grip really well but not too much like slicks that send the car deathrolling. As far as the gearing it's stock and i can't recall the specs, i guess it'd be the same as yours. What is this "SV2" is that the type of esc you have?

oh and as far as cornering it does pretty well but with the aftermarket turnbuckles they seem to not have as much turning radius as the stock ones. I had to lessen the amount of turning (forgot the term) because the dog bones would either lockup in the shafts or pop out completely. It's a problem i haven't resolved yet but at the same time i kind of like how the steering is less sensitve especially for speed runs.

That's an awesome body. I want it.

RE: OFFICIAL HPI Sprint 2 Thread (Sport and Flux)

oh i dig that! speaking of bodies i cranked one out today, left some of the excess lexan to create some what of a "splitter" up front. It will probably help to send my car flying but i think it looks sweet. I reinforced it with some wire too so it might survive more than 1 bashing.

edit: added rear splitter

Random Parameter Solver
This calculator lets you pick what parameter you want to solve for. Be aware that this calculator does NOT take several parameters into account (such as tire ballooning, drag, kv drop vs current/motor resistance, etc). This is used to get a rough approximation.

Simply fill in what you know, but leave the one field blank which you would like to find the answer. Remember, you must leave one and only one field blank. Press the "Calculate Unknown" button to display the result. Some fields can be automatically filled with pre-determined values by selecting from the associated drop-down list.

ORIGINAL: Coolio831

I also recently picked up the Falken tire Porsche. I've been looking for the past 2 days for exact oem replacements but can't find them online anywhere. I'm running a SV2/7700kv combo on 6 cells geared 31/90. The tires are starting to get beat up. I plan on ordering a new radio/tires and a body tomorrow.

Edit: Forgot to mention I'm looking for the rear and front original falken tires 31mm/34mm with 9mm front offset and 12-14mm rear offset rims.
HPIcan take up to a month or 20 at least to release oem parts. rest assured, im sure theyre not far around the corner!
