Default Will a JR11X work on RealFlight 4.5?

I haven't tried it yet, but RealFlight does say to change the modulation to PPM I think. Since the JR11X is 2.4 is there even a way to change the modulation on the radio? It's all new to me. I would really like to practice with my own radio.

Does it have a D.S.C port on the back, or side? like a headphone jack if so it should work. All jr radios I've ever owned worked.

Why would you want the wear and tear on your nice radio?

It does, and I haven't tried it yet, but Realflight says you have to turn the radio to PPM I think, and it's 2.4 so I'm still not sure if it will work. I just haven't gotten around to trying it yet.

I've had a Futaba 9C for years and the JR11X feels quite different in my hands. So I figured a little stick time on the sim might be a good way to get used to it.

I'm pretty sure the trainer output is PPM.

That ppm thing is for PCM style radios where the trainer output would be different depending on what was selected.
