Most realistic sim for 3D flying?
Don't know much about the sims available and the flying seasons almost over so I'm thinking about getting a sim. My primary concern is 3D flying realism and 3D aircaft availability for the sim. Also want it to have a tx interface and be able to use dr/expo etc.
Appreciate any input.
Thanks
Mike

RE: Most realistic sim for 3D flying?
I use AeroFly Professional since quite some time now, and I must say it is one of the finest simulators, when it comes to 3D flying for either Torque rolls or 3D fun stuff. I bought the sim with the interface and the Expansion pack. The models are great for 3D right out of the box, but you can tweak them to suite your preferences. My personal favorite is the Extra 330 from the Expansion Pack. Torque rolls work just great!! I think the manufacturers website is at http://www.aerofly.com, but you can't order it right there, check with the guys at IKARUS USA, http://www.ikarus.net. I got my copy at the Chicago model show.

Mike

RE: Most realistic sim for 3D flying?
That’s going to be hard to answer as we all think we have the best sim.
I’m new to r/c simulators but not to r/c. I did lots of research on the subject and ended up with Aerofly Pro. My friend has Realflight G2 and we will be comparing the two next week. Two sims two computers in the same room for some fun and games. I’ll report how they compare in a week or two.
This is me learning how to 3D fly. Wow I’m getting it. I never crashed ether. Ok Ok I lie allot …
Here’s the link to a post of mine after buying Aerofly Pro.

Ive got aerofly pro, and although its no substitute for the real thing, it does a VERY good job if you set the CAP 232 or extra up right.
