Default Real Flight Conflict with FS 2004?

I have had Realflight G2 (with the USB interface) for some time and it works quite nice. I just purchased Microsoft FS 2004 and installed it (I am using a Microsoft 3D Pro joystick for it).

The FS 2004 does not function properly. On start-up, the elevator trim moves to one extreme. Nothing I have tried makes the trim move after this. All of the settings in FS 2004 point to the joystick; however, the RF transmitter still controls certain functions. I have tried to delete the I-Controller within FS 2004, but it won't let me.

Is there known conflicts between the I-Controller and the joystick? If so, are there any fixes?

George

Does your computer have two places to plug the transmitter or joystick into?Mine has one in back and one sort of hidden in front near the bottom.

I have found that you should only plug in the controllers that you want to use for that particular application. It is inconvenient but with a USB hub it makes it a little easier

You should go into MS Flight Sim and go into the controls setup. Choose the Axis tab and choose the 'Realflight USB Controller'. Now remove the mapping of each axis from all the controls. This will make your Interlink controller stop trying to command the MS Sim.
