Making AFP hovering more difficult/realistic
I can hover the OMP planes and the Extra, Cap, and other 3d planes on AFP even with the wind and turbulence turned on. But when I go out to the field to fly (EF Edge and Sudokhoi), the plane is wing rocking like crazy and falling out of hover in seconds. I've got the CG back as far as I can - to the point where landing is a real challenge. On the other hand I can hover a foamy electric out in the real world about like the sim.
How can I make AFP more like real. I've moved the CG forward and that makes it more difficult, but still not like the real thing.

Turn the simulation speed to 120%.
Also you are talking about giant scale planes on AFP versus .40 size planes in the field.

RE: Making AFP hovering more difficult/realistic
OK. Good suggestion. I upped the speed to 125%, and moved the CG 2" forward, and dialed in some turbulent wind. Edge 540P.
Now it's pretty similar to my Sudokhoi - challenging! Cool. Sets me to thinking of moving the Sudokhoi's CG back more. And maybe getting a bigger plane someday.
Thanks, Balin
