Default AFP Smoke & Exhaust

Anyone else have difficulty getting smoke and exhaust to display in AFP?

FWIW my graphics card is an NVidea GeForce4 MX 420 with 64MB of RAM.

Thanks,

Carl

Well,

It turns out that I had turned off smoke and had to hit the "9" key to activate it. That works fine ... but still no exhaust.

you can manually adjust the density of the smoke and exaust in the config file for AFP. im at work and don't remember the directory/name of the file off the top of my head, maybe someone can help! i played around with the setting and made the exaust a bit more realistic looking. i agree, at the default setting it is barely noticeable, if at all. smoke can be made more dense too, but be aware that adjusting both might affect your frame rate if you have a slower computer. mine is a P4-2.7 and it didn't seem to make a difference no matter how high I made them.

Heres the defaut location for file to change everything from windspeed to smoke/exhaust density..etc....C:\Program Files\IPACS\AeroFly Professional\config\main.cfg. OPen in wordpad and go nuts. Try a windspeed of 20, you can fly backwards..

Thanks! I'll give it a try.
