AFF Deluxe landed home!!! wouaahh!!
Guys,
I got my my AFP deluxe today. The sim is so freakin awesome!!!. A huge improvement over the original!
The physics are much better. The planes are less floaty and they fly just like the real thing.
You won't regret your AFP deluxe I garantee it!!!!
The Nvidia 6800 GT is pumping up awesome graphics!!
Here are some pics. Talk to you later! I Must play!!!

I thought the big upgrade in AFP Deluxe was supposed to be graphics, not physics?

AFP Deluxe upgrade was physics AND graphics.

Hey Serge go in the gym with Shocky and go into follow mode. You have to set your follow mode to follow strength 25% and zoom to 0. Also setup your Shocky like Maarten in the AFP forums.
Go into the 4 rooms in each corner, where the exit doors are. There are a couple surprises in each room.
Then go outside and land on top of the gym roof. Then let it fall off the roof.
Also if your real good try to go down the stairwell from top to bottom. Let me know when you accomplish it! Don't forget to download the free OMP planes. The 10-300 Bipe flies 100% better on Deluxe.

Wow! awesome pictures there.[8D] Does AFPD support multiplayer over the internet or LAN connection? I have Reflex now and really like it alot but I wish it had multiplayer support.

Hi Guys,
Does AFP Deluxe have any decent flying 40-60 size models? I have AFP, which I like a lot, but this is one area I wish they would improve. Almost all of the AFP models (including those available for download) are in the 75-100 inch wingspan range. They are great for practicing 3D, but they do not fly anything like my real .40-.60 size planes. The sim planes are way too easy to land, and they seem to "float" to the point that you can get yourself out of just about any potential crash. While this is great for practicing 3D ... it deos not help at all for practicing with my real models.
I have both AFP and G2, and the one thing that keeps me flying G2 is the models that fly like my real planes. FWIW my models are a .40 size GP Extra 300S, a .40 size Sig Somethin' Extra, and a .60 size GP Spacewalker. If you can point me to a download for one of these I'd greatly appreciate it.
Thanks,
Carl

Serge did you know that you can press F11 while in AFP to take a screenshot now? There is a folder called screenshots in AFP Deluxe directory. You'll see them all in there.
Just an FYI.

OK there is a trick to it ... but I can do it almost everytime now. First off you have to tweak your plane pretty close to what Maarten does in the above forum.
You have to be in follow mode of course. When you head to the stairwell dont shoot in at an angle. Come in from a the side wall, straight in. This way the follow mode will put you in a better position. Then go to the left side of the stair well, not down the steps. Fly straight in at it then snap into a hover and get straight as possible.
Then let if fall quickly, the camera moves a little slower then the plane. Now this is going to be trial and error. You have to time it so that it falls and you hit the throttle to keep it up and not whacking the tail at the bottom of the stairwell. Then grab yourself a drink from the water fountain.
Give it a try! Report when you do it!

Ok thats it! I'm just going to HAVE to take out 79.95 and get AFPD!!! These pics are too good! lol for me AFP has good phics.. and graphics but if the 10-300 bipe has 100% better flight characteristics then I NEED to get AFPD... For now I will fly AFP and my fly my SSE.
Good times,
Matt

Matt,
Is SSE Sig Somethin' Extra? If so, have you found an AFP download that flies like the real thing? I made one for G2, but can't find anything for AFP.
Thanks,
Carl
