Which 3D R/C Simulator is BEST overall
I currently own 2 of the three (one is for sale) and am real interrested in seeing the results of this poll myself.
Voting is for "Best overall 3D simulator" so if you could only keep one of em -which one would it be[X(]

True but most have had at least one and tried another at a friends or LHS etc..
Some have had 2 and some have had/tried them all.
Some have had 2 and some have had/tried them all.

Not sure it would be a fair poll...
Very few people have had all three...

Yeah... maybe...
But for someone to vote for "Best overall sim" I'd certainly hope they would have had the opportunity to spend sufficent time on each one to make an educated vote... The title of this poll would be more aptly titled:
Vote for you favorite sim...
You're sure to get "my sim is the best 'cause I own it" votes...
I just don't think the results of this poll will be useful in determining anything.
I personally think Reflex & AFPD are tied... with each having strengths and weaknesses... I ended up keeping AFPD and selling Reflex... but it wasn't because one was better than the other...
It's like saying the open end of a wrench is better than the closed end... It just depends on the users needs and personal preferences...

IMHO ….Kinda think poll is a waste of time....Seems to me this here is one of those, FORD DODGE CHEVY debates. Has more to do with what sitting in your driveway (computer) than anything factual…..bert

None is best overall because they can be balanced out by strengths/weaknesses.
While I prefer one for specific reasons, you may prefer the other for specific reasons.
I agree that AeroflyPro Deluxe and Reflex XTR are the best sims available for R/C.
[8D]Most Heli Pilots will prefer Reflex XTR.
[8D]Most Airplane flyers of any style, will prefer AeroflyPro Deluxe.

RE: Which 3D R/C Simulator is BEST overall
G3 was released too soon. That is something that no one can deny.
However, the Heli update, which came sooner then expected, also fixed quite a few bugs. Now they are saying that they expect to be releasing the next substantial patch by the end of this month (about a week).
Time will tell, especially after seeing what this next major patch does for us, but I'm starting to think I may not regret sticking with G3 and seeing what happens. I really get a kick out of the Multiplayer action. It brings the sim experience back to a community activity.
I'll try to take some time after this next patch to let those who are interested know what issues were addressed.

Yes.
Actually, at the KE discussion forums, the G3 people are saying they hope to have it out by the end of this coming week.
They have not said what fixes are contained in the update,
Here is the quote -
"We plan to have a patch out at the end of the month, roughly, and then do regular updates every couple of weeks."
and restated -
"We are hoping to release another update later this week"
lastly -
"We are currently entering a new round of compatibility testing and will be releasing patches for laptops and lower end cards as soon as possible."
So - a patch to address as much as they can later this week, and a schedule of picking off more of the issues every two weeks or so.
I think they are taking the negative feedback seriously, and I'm willing to give it a little time and see what becomes of this sim. There are a lot of things I like about it and, with some well targeted fixes, it could really be great.

RE: Which 3D R/C Simulator is BEST overall
obviously people with just one are going to be very biased, i voted for xtr because i have tried both afpd and xtr and i prefered reflex, overall it was the better sim, the planes in afpd are too "light" and the helis are wayyy too slow and would have needed a lot of tweaking to get accurate, xtr was great out of the box.
