Default Convert Futaba 6FGK TX to Controller?

1) Can the old "Gold Case" Futaba 6fgk transmitters be converted to controlers? (There is a trainer port)

2) If so, any recomndations as to which controller to build or by?

3) I've tried several Sims using a Microsoft Sidewinder joystick. The controls will never recenter themselves correctly- let go of the stick and the plane will wander all over the place. Are the TX controllers "tighter"?

Thanks,

MarkD

I currently have the FMS and Pre-Flight sims from the Web.

Thanks,
