Default Moving G2 to new computer

Hi all,

I just bought a new computer and need to load G2 on it. I have looked around and cannot find info on the procedure for doing this. I seem to recall that I need to un-register the computer it is on now first, then load and register it on the new one.

I'm really excited about the new computer, it is a P4 2.4ghz with
512mg ram, 533 fsb and a G-Force 4 4600 with 128MB on board.
It should really FLY (pun intended).

Can someone help me out?

Thanks,

I had to do a format-reinstall of Win2k on my computer a few months ago so I had basicly the same situation. I just went through the online registration process again when I installed the software. I used the same information in the registration I used the first time (or at least as close as I could remember).

This really should work. When something bad happens (like a hard drive failure) or good happens (a new computer) there's no way someone owning a legitimate license should be penalized or unduly inconvenienced in any way.

All you simply have to do is install it on the other pc if you wanted to you could leave a copy on both pcs. I have G2 on 2 computers in my home. There is nothing major about this just install you do not have to worry about registering it again. Just put in your key when it prompts you for it.

Thanks

Mayur,

I got it connected last night and it is incredible. I turned the graphics engine up all the way and it has no problem keeping up with the frame rate.

I also got the RCJoy interface from LEW Engineering. I use it to connect my Airtronics Stylus to G2 and it works great too. If you want to use your "flying" TX for G2, I highly recommend it.

Really enjoying G2.

Mayur,

I'm not sure how to measure it. If you can tell me how to check it, I will post it for you.

I also goofed on the CPU, it is a 2.53Ghz not 2.4. But I can't tell the difference hehe.
