Crow function moves both ailerons up a little bit and both flaps donw a little bit and the elvator down just a bit. All at the same time.
You can do all kinds of neet stuff with them,

Get your book out that came with the US kit, If you don't have one you can download it from Hangar 9s site. It has it all in there You will have to learn your AEROFLY manual, make the right assisignments for the right servos do a bunch of raido programing. and there you go.

If you need instruction for your crow flaps go into the radio support forum. Each radio is different.
The only thing you need to do on the AFP side is program the flaps and airleons channels. But the rest comes from your radio.
There's lots of threads about them.

Dave: Hangar 9 (Horrizon Hobbies) has the instruction manual for the US on line. That manual tells how to program most popular JR and Futaba computer radios. I have been flying a US for awhile so I already had the programing done in my radio. I had to make a couple changes in the radio program so I copied it to an unused memory location and made my changes in the new location. That way I didn't mess-up my for-real US. You do need a computer radio for this. Each of the 4 servos in the wing are connected to a separate channel in your receiver, then the mixing begins. I use a Futaba Super 8. There are some exceptions that let you use a 6 channel computer radio.
As you already know, It will fly great as a sport plane on a plain 4 channel radio.
Go for it.
Ron

Yes, but if you Y harness the flaps, you can't do full-span ailerons. If you have a Futaba 9C, they have step by step programming instructions on thier web-site, under 9C FAQs for the Utra Stick. Full span ailerons make snaps MUCH more precise and aid in hovering and stuff as well becuase the regular ailerons are not in the prop wash.

Dave_Moen: I have a Super 8 and the Aileron-to-flat and the Elevator-to-flap mixes both work well on my for-real US 120 and I use both of them. But neither of those mixes are working for me on the sim. I have ckecked both and they are set up and activated.

Dave: (the other Dave) get that 6X programed, you will love the results.

I copied my setup for my "real" airplane to a new memory location for AFPD and tried that out a bit. I have everything but ele-flap mixing on my real plane, so far the mixes don't work on the sim plane. I'll get it figgered out though!

I had to set up a new input device for my Super 8 by going to the Calibration menu. Then I used the expert setup to assign channels. Does that make sense to you?

I have for some reason not been able to find the AFPD Ultra Stick Lite 1.20 download file.
Is it possible that the link has changed?
