Default Why no custom planes in G3?

As a game developer, I find it hard to believe that any game/sim nowadays isnt customizable. Almost every product sent to market by any company of reputable value is moddable...

I didnt do alot of research, which is my fault, but finding out that new planes are only available through purchased packs is quie irritating. The ability to add planes at all means that the architechture is there to do so, but the company just decided not to allow it out of what basically boild down to greed (Its business i know, but bad business none the less)

If AFPD can do it, or even more if MS Flight Sim (which has much more in depth physics and model detailing) can make a very easy to adapt (Relatively speaking) new aircraft with their own unique physical and visual charactoristics, then there is no logical reason why its not possible to give us the tools to create our own planes....its beyond me really.

I know that knife-edge has people that look through these forums, and if they even respond at all im sure it will be the ever so original "not inclined to comment" kind of deal....

As much as this is a vent, its a warning to others to stay away...200 dollars for something with no upgradability without paying MORE .... doesn't make practical sense....

guess ill have to go back to my days of figuring out filetypes and make my own tools.....

I believe knife edge is working on this very issue. Read the following thread on their discussion forum:

Actually, i did, the fact that there appears to be 1 or 2 threads in the few message boards i have come across makes it kind of hard to know everything...

The fact remains, that this could and should have been done a while ago....

So no, my head is fine...but thanks for the concern

lol, but seriously, I think it will make G3 the best once this is complete. That is the only thing missing right now.
