Minimum system requirements for AFPD?
Any body know what the minimum system requirements are for Aerofly Pro Deluxe?
And maybe the system needed for optimum performance?

Never mind. [&o]
After reading about all the problems with the AFPD sim, I decided to stay with FMS.
I already tried my friends RF G3 too - no good ether. [&o]
Looks like the free FMS is WAY better than most give it credit for.

RE: Minimum system requirements for AFPD?
Reading off the face plate:
This computer is a
hp pavilion 734n
2400+ AMD Athlon XP (2.0Ghz)
512mb DDR ****M memory
80gb hard drive (2 of these for 160 gb total)
64mb NVIDA GeForce4 MX420 graphics card w/TV-Out
CD-RW
DVD-RW
Windows XP home edition operating system
RF G3 was start-stop-start-stop. The plane crashed before the controls could catch up to it.
As said before, FMS works great on this computer.
The friend that brought his RF G3 over to let me try, said he thought that MAYBE a different video card with a lot more ram might be needed. After checking on those, A lot to spend on a MAYBE though. [&o]

Yep, now a days you need AT LEAST 512mb of ram. Upgrade that to 1 gig or maybe 2, ram makes everything run better/smoother. Also, GPU is a must, try to get at least a 128mb GPU, ATI, Nvidia... there good. Myabe if you can get a new motherboard you can get pci express for the gpu... unless your mb already supports pci express. 16 pipelines......... nice the 7800gtx is very nice http://www.nvidia.com/page/geforce_7800.html http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814143036

RE: Minimum system requirements for AFPD?
I have an ATI Radeon 9800 Pro 256 and G3 works great on mine. It has come down a lot in price since I bought mine.
