Default Synergy HElI for AFPD?

Hi,
I live in France and I like AFPD. So I would like to have the synergy helicopter because I am carzy about it and I think ther's no real new 3D heli for AFPD.
For XTR they already have Stratus, Synergy .....But I think AFPD is better.
I am looking for someone who can help me because I didn't manage to design synergy, even my friend in my club...
I see that Pat ( username TWRC) is a great meta designer
So could you help me?

I give you the web link to see the synergy: http://www.synergyhelicopters.com

Hope someone fulfill my dream...

Best regards, norbert

Hello Norbert,

You must have read my mind I have a wireframe started for the Synergy. I too am a fan of this machine.
I'll finish it up soon.
I was going to set it up as a extreme 3D machine. Are you more interested in 3D or FAI? I could make both version.

Pat

Thanks Matt If you can use Autocad, medasqiuoia should be a snap for you. The had part is learning how to make your wire frame model work in the sim. The 3D modeling is just practice. Here's a link on how to model with medasqiuoia.

Anyway.. Here's a new picture of the Synergy so far. I hope to start the flight testing later tonight.

Pat that is one AWESOME heli!!![X(]. The Synergy is one of my fav helis too

How do you get them into AFPD so quickly??? I sent the Aurora to Rodeo and he very kindly converted it to an obj file and then I tried getting it into AFPD, I've made the TMD and TMG files up then load AFPD up and it appears on the main menu then go to fly it and it just looks from the model to the ground[&o]. It also doesn't appear in the AFPD internal editor []? I guess it could be something to do with the "K" values in the TMD? I'm not familiar with these you see.

Otherwize I'm doing great, I've almost finished a Krill Katana(pic below).

Thanks & BW!

Greg.

I tried to use that program and it went ok but I just can't get everything right. I think I'm going to try pro engineer, my bro uses it at cal poly for aerospace engineering. Oh wait nvm, my bro said solidworks is more versatile , maybe that will be better?

Hello Napa,
The Synergy Is now avalible from Aeroflypro.com. You need to register and the download then model. Hope you enjoy. This model realy is a joy to fly with a computer radio setup to your liking.

Hello Matt3D,
I've never used any other 3d wire frame programs other than med and Gmax. I'm more comfortable with med. I would asume you could use any 3d program as lone as you could convert the files to the right format an the file structure were the same But Idono for shure. You can always try. If your making Aerofly models Med works very well but it can take time to learn how to make it all work. Great Luck.

Greg Your Katana Looks great! Nice job. Your Aurora problems can be caused by many things and mabe more than one. Rather than guess I would be happy to take a looksee and try to fine out what the issue is. Sent you files on over

Simply repaint the .Bmp Textures. Don't change the size or format, and back up the original textures just in case you need them.
