Default Dragonfly flight sim problem - help pls!

Howdy, folks -

I'm brand new to this forum. First thing I'll do is explain my handle, "dasob". My initials are SOB (really!), so I used them to make up a handle that no one will want to copy!

As well as being a licensed private pilot, I have flown RC fixed wing for years, and decided that I wanted to tackle the challenge of learning to fly rotary wing. First thing I discovered is that it's much harder than fixed wing! Like balancing a BB on the tip of a pencil. After lots of shopping and consideration, I got me a Walkera Dragonfly 4 to start with.

OK, now I would like to ask for some help and guidance from y'all. I got the copter from Hobby4less, and have to say that they are quick on the turnaround. However, I didn't receive a sim CD with the copter, so I downloaded one called FMS. It seems to be pretty good, but I can't get it to work with my transmitter. I don't have any instructions or troubleshooting guide, so I'm flying blind here (please pardon the pun!) I'm using XP on my PC, if that makes any difference.

Informatively, I had my first flight lesson on the copter after I got it yesterday. I can't figure out how to attach the training wheels, so I just went to work without them, knowing I can chop the throttle if the copter starts getting away from me. I've managed to get the copter light on the skids, even get it airborne a few inches, but I definitely need to develop my hover skills! I can tell it's gonna be fun, though!

If anyone has any suggestions or help for me on the sim problem, feel free to e-mail me at [email protected].

Thanks to all!!

Sam
