G2 on a laptop/notebook?
First let me say that I am new to RCUniverse and I am very impressed with the knowledge of the members and their willingness to help people new to the hobby. I have learned a lot by just monitoring several of the topics.
Now for my question. Are there any adjustments I can make to the G2 Lite software to allow it to run on my HP N5490 laptop? The unit is as follows:
Processor: Intel Pentium III 1000 Megahertz
Memory: 256k
Display: S3 Graphics Inc. - Savage/IX Display Driver
Available HD Space: 11.4 gig with program already loaded
Multimedia: ESS Allegro PCI Audio (WDM)
I called RF Tech Support; however, the lady was not much help.
Thanks

Possibly
The are a couple of things you could try.
From within the software, go to you VIDEO settings and see if you can disable all the extras such as; shadows, ground detail, clouds, etcs. Now lower the resolution and color quality, say 640x480 instead of 1024x768.
Play with the settings in the sofware until you get it to run at a good speed. Now you can enable what you disabled one at a time, until it starts to slow down again.

Thanks Kevlar. I will play with it some and see what I can do. I hear that the program does not run well with S3 graphics cards.
