Real Flight g3.5
I was wondering if a ATI Radion x200m (128mb) would be enough to run the real flight 3.5 smoothly? my memory is 143gb of ram, processor 1.70 ghz, windows xp. This is a Toshiba laptop, I havent opened the real flight simulator yet, just wondering if any of you guys could let me know if my computer is gonna be able to run this program well. How about the Reflex simulator? Would this laptop run it good?

143gb of ram?? Your system should run the photofields ok but dont expect too much from the 3d rendered ones. Tho personally i think the photo fields are much better and never fly on thr 3d ones which just look too fake to me.

RE: Real Flight g3.5
I use the Radeon ATI 9200 at 128 mb and my computer is an Athlon 2600+ with 512 megs of RAM.
With G3.5 it runs fine but I turned down all the image quality. The only thing remaining is that the resolution is set to MAX at 32 bits. Runs very smooth this way. I would really like to have shadows but the sofware just crashes when I try to put them on.
Get your latest drivers, the game was not working properly until I got the newest drivers.

RE: Real Flight g3.5
I am using the ATI Radeon X1400 Hypermemory 256MB (really though it is only 128MB dedicated to the video card, while the other is shared...that is what Hypermemory means from what I undestand), anyways it works great. I also have a duo core 1.6GHz with 2 GB Ram so that helps to. I do have to tone down the settings a bit though, especially on 3D fields which I am not a fan of anyways. Either way the sim is flying and looking great.

To make sure you have the correct video card go to http://www.knifeedge.com/rfvc_compatibility.php and see if your card is on the list and has been tested and works.
