planes for FMS
no such thing as a good flying pattern plane in FMS, it doesn't use side area and so wont knife edge, and hanging is also a problem.
there is a huge German site which i got 90% of my planes from, it has the G-trick 90 in 3 different versions for different flying, same gos for Majestic and Sensation.
type FMS in any old search engine and enjoy a days searching and downloading. don't have a Sabre yet, but if you find one let me know so i can turn it into a Wattage F-86 and put it on my site with the Sabre review

THNX for the F-86...NICE!
by the way are you really from Philadelphia? I passed through this summer on my bike (vacation trip). Me and my wife really enjoyed the old city. My camera broke down, so we were riding around down-town shops looking for a used Minolta to fit my lenses - MAN WAS IT HOT in the leathers !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anyway good to meet you
P.S. if you are, you moved very far from home (I see you live in the UK )LOL

planes for FMS
why is it only Americans that think this
no, my names Phil, and it was a nick name given to me by a online friend, it kinda stuck.
Anyway, not a nice F-86 i've had a play with the PAR file and got it as close to flying like my Wattage sabre as i can, inculding the DF noise. i will upload the files to my site soon or just mail me for a copy of the Par file which you can make a copy of the whole plane in a different folder, then replace its PAR file with mine

f-86 please e-mail me the whole file if you can...
THNX phillyboy! (I'm not sure, but it could be illegal to call yourself Philly* if you are NOT from Philadelphia!)
question1: I have a nice FMS Spit, flies well, but the rudder is to sensitive- how can I edit the rudder commands?
question2: I have noticed one can't nife-edge in FMS. Do you know why that is?
By-the-way I an NOT American (am Canadian) but I guess that's close enough for you folks living on the other side of the big pool *lmao*

you need to open the PAR file with notepad, its all in German sooooooo....
0 1:Type(-) Type[0=Plane] ParDesigner Ver0.8
4 2:Tmax(N) Maximum Thrust
1.8 3rmax(rad) Maximun Rudder Angle
1.4 4emax(rad) Maxmim Elevator Angle
0.4 5amax(rad) Maximim Aileron Angle
1.0 6:CLmax(-) Maximum Lift Coefficient
-1.0 7:CLmin(-) Minimum Lift Coefficient
1 8:CLa(/rad) Lift Gradient
20 9:CLaSt(/rad) Lift Gradient in Stall
0.02 10:CDw(-) Drag Coefficient of Wing
0.01 11:CDb(-) Drag Coefficient of Fuselage
0.1 12:mug(-) Friction Coefficient of Wheels
0.1 13:dCDSt(-) Rise of Drag Coefficient in Stall
0.03 14:CM(-) Moment Coefficient
0.00 15:alpha0(rad) Wing Angle
1.5 16:b(m) Wing Span
0.6 17:c(m) Wing Chord
0.45 18:hce(m) Equivalent Center of Gravity
0.2 19:m(Kg) Mass
1.2 20:Izz(Kg*m^2) Yaw Inertia Moment
1.2 21:Iyy(Kg*m^2) Pitch Inertia Moment
0.1 22:Ixx(Kg*m^2) Roll Inertia Moment
1.5 23:She(m^2) Effective Area of Stab
1.5 24:Sfe(m^2) Effective Area of fin
1.5 25:Lt(m) Tail Moment Arm
0.000 26:VForm(-) Effect of Dihedral Angle
use that, these are random figures but will tell you line by line what is what, this will allow you to edit the rudder, here you can see rudder is 1.8, this isn't degrees, i have no idea what it is, just type a new number ( sabre uses 0.09 for ailerons! ) save the file, reload the plane and see what difference it makes. putting - ATV on your transmitter will also work
FMS doesn't have side area and so you end up using engine power and rudder, I've not found a plane even close to correct, same happens post stall which makes prophanging all but impossible, its possible to hang. but nothing works once your there.
my F-86 is now zipped into a nice small file, i've put it on my sabre review, but currently cant get the link to work, I'm new to www.homepage.stuff so maybe a link to a file on the server wont work and it needs its own page. will sort this tomorrow, but just for you i'll post it in a min, just unzip it in your models folder.
i;m currently having a Cougar done, and if i work out the design software i'll add a Magnum and a few of my other planes.
theres a big difference between yanks and Canadians, in SouthPark you all have strange heads
