Realflight G3.5 compatible?
Hey all,
I've been stressing about if my G3.5 thats on its way to my house right now will run okay on my laptop... I have a compaq.. it has 1.86 ghz, 782 mHz, and 504 MB of RAM. Direct x9, 502 MB of Physical memory.... I think it should be fine but I was wondering from more experienced computer guys on here or any body that knows? any help will be greatly appreciated and will ease my stress haha... can't wait to get it though.. it should be here this upcoming wednsday!

Probably not very well.
Turn off most of the smoke and clouds and stuff and or use a photo field and you may get acceptable performance.
Video memory is a big factor, since there's no such thing as 504 mb of ram I have to assume you have 512 with 8 meg of shared ram thats used for video. System ram is comparitively slow and 8 meg isn't much.

RE: Realflight G3.5 compatible?
G2 fan fine on my laptop, I'd hook it up to a projector and play on the living room wall when my wife wasn't home.
When I upgraded and sold my G2 I was sorry to find out it wouldnt run even on my relatively hot dell notebook.
Runs fine on my home system but its got a video card with 512mb of ram just for the video.

All three would benefit from having more memory. Memory is usually the first restriction people have. Next is video. Onboard usually won't hack it. It takes CPU cycles and uses prime memory. A card offloads the CPU and has it's own memory.
