Default G2 vs. G3.5/4

I just bought a used version of G2. I have never tried G2 but have tried both G3.5 and G4 at my LHS. How does it compare? The version I got comes with the USB transmitter, so I wont have to use my transmitter. I know the newer versions are ïmproved, but my main focus isn't on the number of models, night flying, streamers, etc. I am most interested in the flight characterics. Did they change much from G2 to G3.5? What are the drawbacks of G2?

I have owned g-2 and I know have G3.5 and to me there really isn't much differance between the 2 other then the graphics look better on the new one. They both are good for what they are intended to do teach oriantation and some stick movement but neather one can replace the real thing.
