Default FMS controller

I have downloaded the free FMS simulator. I need a controller, using the keyboard is terrible. I have a JR sport S400, can I use that? If so what kind of adapter do I need. If I need to purchase a controller what is a cheap but effective one?
Thanks!

The FMS page has links on it somewhere on how to make a parallel port patch cord. I bought a $10 USB cable on E-Bay and it works fine.

Check on ebay I got a kit that came with an FMS cd, and necessary patches to plug any type of Tx into the USB. I'm using my Futaba 6EX with FMS.

The package came from Hong Kong for about $9.95 and works great.
