I tried it and and it I only get an error message that it can't find some file, then it shuts down and returns to the windows screen. I deleted it and did a reload with the same results?? Has any one seen this?? Also can the sim work with a USB Game Commander?? controller??

RE: Will FMS work with windows XP??
Your PC is too new.
You'll get an error if you only have USB ports.
FMS needs to recognize those old D-sub types comports.
You need to makie a ghost comport...just add a comport via your device manager.
You don't install anything...becuase PC are stupid.lmaf
Anyway, after it gets done assigning a comport number.
You just write a patch file via NOTEPAD and leave it on your desk top. then click on it a couple times. Then click on FMS.
You can go to the FMS's site and look in the window versions section, there's plenty of threads to the original link with
the original instructions.
Don't worry the patch is only about a couple of sentances long.
It'll do the samething to Vista too, if you only have usb ports.
