Default New Aerobird Swift for CV/FMS rc-sims

Hello all!

I have just completed a model of the Aerobird Swift for [link=http://gunnerson.homestead.com/files/clearview/Aerobird-Swift.zip]ClearView[/link] and [link=http://gunnerson.homestead.com/files/aerobird-swift.zip]FMS[/link].

The [link=http://www.hobbyzone.com/rc_planes_hobbyzone_aerobird_swift.htm]Aerobird Swift[/link] is a nice pod and boom aileron trainer from the HobbyZone folks that have brought us all the Aerobird and Firebird variations.

Model Specs are:
Span: 48.0 in (1.22m)
Length: 34.0 in (0.86m)
Weight: 22oz (0.624kg)
Motor: Speed 480
Radio: 3 channel A/E/T proportional FM, 27 MHz, 6 available freqs.
Speed Control : Power FET proportional ESC/RX
Battery: 7 cell 8.4V 1000mAh Ni-MH pack

Please try the model with ClearView or FMS and let me know how it flies or whether any adjustments are needed.

Click the Clearview or FMS link in the first message.

Which version of FMS was this made for? I've loaded the plane, but it doesn't respond to any controls.

FMS 2.8.5 is the most current version of FMS and also flys models built for FMS 2.7.

OK, I've got it to work on FMS 2.8.5. I'll have to try it with my transmitter installed. Looks good though.

Hi, I used the FMS version, with my 5-ap TX that came with my aerobird swift and found it great, it helped my confidence heaps.
