The esky sim is FMS. Lots of planes and landscapes available. Use google to find thier website for a start.

I am painfully new to all of this. I recently was given a Lama V3. .....um....and now I'm waiting for some replacement parts to come in the mail.,

I've tried with little to no success to get the FMS simulator to work. I was not able to get the software to recognize my remote. But then I'm not sure what I did and I sort of had it going for a few minutes. But up was down, left was right etc etc....it didn't match how I have it set up to fly the actual model. I was dinking around with the calibration and mapping....moving the channels around and all that. But now the remote has stopped working altogether again. And the readme file...I'm not sure what they are trying to tell me.

Why am I such a dumb-ass?

Thanks

I believe the Lama V3 has mixing turned on in the controller and you have to turn the mixing off using dip switches to use it in FMS.

The problem of course, is you need to set it back again to fly your heli.

So, perhaps a $5 dual joystick is in order. Works just fine for training on FMS.

Or you can get a $20 SIM controller that will work.
