Real Flight 4.5 or FSOne
Guys,
Help me pick. My buddy let me borrow his Real Flight 3.0 and it's pretty good, but now he took it back and I want to go out and buy my own. They dont sell 3.x anymore and RF4.5 is $199 I can get get FS0ne for $100 and from some of the previews it looks great.
Is RealFlight worth an Extra $100? Can you guys give me some advise on which one I should buy. My LHS carries both so It will be one or the other. Your expertise and oppinons are most welcome.

hi - most now recommend Phoenix sim www.phoenix-sim.com - you have to purchase
from UK but shipping is fast and the cost is less.
check on the other forums - you wont be disapointed ;-)

I have a FSOne without controller on ebay right now that is less than $50 including shipping at the moment. I own three copies of Realflight and prefer that but if you can get FSOne for a low price and have a controller that is compatable, it's not too bad.

Buy the cheapest. No, wait, buy the most expensive. No, on 3rd thought, search the forums and see how much discussion has already taken place and how many times this comparison has already been made.

I'm a sucker for every RC sim that seems to come out.
FSOne has a bunch of planes that I own, so I could not resist it.
Strangly I find that the most accurate flying plane in FSOne is the Alpha Trainer. It's pretty close to the real deal.
The others IMHO have much better fidelity in the user created versions for G4.5.
