Default FS One Audio problems....

I suspect this question may have been asked and answered before....... I would apreciate either a link to previous threads that cover this problem. Or some one who knows the answer to respond.... I started up my sim last night and it has no sound. I know the audio is working on my PC, was playing mp3's before and after. Even the clicks (when selecting everything in FS One) are very audible. Went to "Option" and "Sounds" and everything appears to be correct with settings.

Any ideas.......?

Thanks
bbell

Default RE: FS One Audio problems....

No.... I have not.... I reinstalled FS One and that didn't help. I then did an uninstall of FS One and the rebooted and reinstalled it. This to had no effect either. My sound works perfect on the computer. plays music and my other games. But, no sound from FS One. Well let me restate that. When you click on something (in start-up) and clicking exit FS One, you hear the click sound. But no sound when the screen (ready to fly) comes up. I have found the sound and mute setting and it is not muted...... Any ideas....

Thank you very much....

bbell,
I believe the answer here is that you need up update the audio and video drivers. Specifically the audio drivers.

Are you familiar how to do that?

If not, head over to: http://www.inertiasoft.com/fsonefaq/index.html

You can search on this page for the FAQ for updating audio drivers, or search for audio...

Let me know if you have any questions, comments.

Thank you very much. Although I didn't get driver updated, I did find the fix. Hardware Accellarator under Audio playback had to be reduced from full to 1/4. That was suggested in the FAQ site you directed me to.

Thanks Again...
