I'm ready to buy a new PCand would like to get one that will be fully compatible with all the features and functonality of RealFlight G5. Can anyone here recommend specific current Dell PC or other PC provider model #'sthat will do the job?

Just ordered a laptop for RealFlight G5.

You have to have a 512 mb graphics card, 2 -4 GB ram and dual core processor no matter if its a laptop or desktop.

I hope G5 doesn't have the laptop video problems that plagued G4.5.

Just went thru the same excercise about 3 weeks ago. I now own a Dell Studio XPS 8100, Intel Core i5-650 processor ( 4MB Cache,3.2 GHz ), 8 GB DDR3 ****M at 1333 MHz - 4x2 GB.
Video card is a Radion 5450 ( 1GB ).

On a 20" HD 1600 x 900 monitor, It produces the most brilliant, and smooth running edition of Real Flight G-5 that I have viewed anywhere ! .......... Buy it factory direct. The sales people and support people are great.
