lowest price on realflight?
Every so often Tower Hobbies runs a special. Look for either a $15 off 'Ad number' and/or a $20 gift cert towards other purchases.
I purchased my copy of RealFlight G2 there for $189. Plus they threw in Add-ons Vol. 1 for free. AND they offered a program called Easy Pay where they would bill my credit card 1/3 of the price per month until it was paid. That's like an interest free loan and it made the purchase easier on my budget. This was about 9 or 10 months ago; I don't know if the terms have changed since then.

lowest price on realflight?
I unfortunately brought mine for $200, (Tax came out to about 221) I should've brought mine on the net, instead I went to a local hobby shop to purchase it, but at least I got a chance to play it that same day. That was my first virtual experience in R/C and I couldn't wait to rip open the package when I got home. I felt like a kid again, it was an amazing experience.
I honestly think it's a rip off to charge you for each of the Add in packs, (Some places 29.99 for each volume) They should at least give you the first two free (Via download) because initially Realflight is expensive.

lowest price on realflight?
I have a question about realflight G2. Does it come with a controller(2 stick type?)? Also I want to use it for learning to fly a nitro helicopter(Kyosho VR46)....can I buy a controller with similar controls to the one I will be using?(Futaba super8) I want to learn with a two stick controller, hopefully with the same functions that my real controller/heli will have...Thanks much for any help you might be able to provide!

Todd Marsh,
Yes, Realflight G2 does come with a mock controller. It is used for the simulator only and can not be used as a real RC transmitter. Mine plugs into a USB port on my computer. It has two sticks and a few switches and knobs like a real TX.
It helped me a lot in learning to fly a nitro heli. One nice thing is that I can also use my real TX (Hitec Eclipse) as a sim controller by daisy chaining it into the RealFlight controller with a buddy cable.
