I don't have much time to search for previous posts at the moment but I don't want to miss out either. I can buy a copy of Real Flight G4.5 in perfect condition second hand with everything included for $150 Australian (about $135US). I am looking at getting into RC planes and have never flown one before. I am also looking forward to building them too. Is that a pretty good price for G4.5 and is it worth getting as a begginer? It is the full version by the way - Not the basic one! Thanks for your suggestions everyone!

PS - with the controller that comes with the sim, can you change between mode 1 and 2? Thanks!

I'm not sure about changing modes but the $150 price tag is good. I paid $200USD for mine and love it. I fly it almost every day and can say without a doubt it's helped me. Good luck.

i use mind and i started off with G-2 version 10 years ago. its a must have tool to a flyer

Hey Wazzbat,
Go to RealFlight and download a trial program to make sure it will work on your Laptop. You may find that your PC isn't powerful enough to run it. At least I think you can still do that.

I just downloaded Real Flight Demo to see if it would work on my laptop and when I try to run it, it tells me :

"Please run this program from the Administrator account so it can set up your license. Once the license is set up, you can run it from any account."

I am always logged in to my laptop as the administrator.  Any ideas why it won't work?
