BooRay Racer
 

I have been playing on my buddies Realflight and he found a plane called a BooRay Racer. He really liked the way it flew so I tried it and wow what a smooth flyer it is. Plus it lands at a walk if the sim is accurate. My GP Big Stik flies like the sim and so did the PT-40 trainer I used to have. So I am guess the the booray flies like the sim in real life. The problem is I can't find out anything about getting a kit or an ARF. Or even plans for one. Does anybody know where to get one of these? I liked how it just seemed to float in for a landing even with no wind.

His sim doesn't have a GP Easy Sport 40 on it. Does the easy sport fly like the booray? I have an easy sport kit I found on ebay but haven't started it yet. I have never seen an easy sport fly. Thanks for your input.

I posted the same question at the Knifeedge site when the plane appeared in the sim.

I was given links to commercial kits for it at the time.

BTW: I found my Polecat flew very much like the Booray.

Thanks for the response opjose. I didn't think anyone was going to reply. I haven't heard of a Polecat but will do a search.

Has anyone flown a Dazzler or Uproar. They looked like they might have a similar thick wing and light wing loading as a BooRay.</p>

I have a Twist, which is similiar to the Uproar, except the Twist has larger control surfaces...

The Uproar has longer ailerons that extend to the fuselage, making it a bit better for 3D.

The thick airfoils mean both planes can and will fly slowly. They can do well at speed, but they are not as fast as the thinner winged Booray in the Sim, nor my Polecat.... but the Booray and the Polecat are not really 3D planes either.

Both the Uproar and the Dazzler have shorter fuselages as well, making them easier to throw around, etc.

The Booray and Polecat are "racers", the Uproar, Dazzler & Twist are highly aerobatic and 3D capable planes.

I'd say that both the Uproar and Dazzler are capable of higher speeds than my Twist however, because their control surfaces are not as deep.... so they are not as prone to flutter at high speeds.
