Default Cool Power Fuel

We don't have a hobby shop close so I called a shop in Hollister, Mo to check out their fuel. They sell Cool Power but the gentleman I talked to did not Know if it had castor in it or not. Does anyone know if Cool Power puts castor in their fuel?

JollyPopper,

Cool Power is a synthetic lubricant fuel made by Morgan Fuels,
if you want a synthetic castor blend try Omega which is also made by Morgan Fuels.

At this point I am happy to have anything that will make the big fan on the front of the engine turn. Some of my engines are happy enough with all synthetic fuel but some of the older engines really like a diet of castor beans. They get real cranky if I deny them their castor.

Some Cool Power Four Stroke Fuel has castor oil.

If there is castor oil in the fuel, it will say so with a little sticker on the side.

Regular Cool Power has no castor oil but you can buy a bottle at the drug store and add it to the fuel. The usual dose is 2 OZ

+1 on adding a couple of ounces to the jug. Cheap insurance.

Cool Power 4S 15%, at least 2 or 3 years ago, had some small percent of castor, per the Morgan website. The Morgan website is down right now but I remember last year I could no longer verify there was any castor oil in it. I just checked a jug from a case I bought in 2010, it says castor/synthetic blend.
