well im new to this whole glow engines, i ve read loads of your posts and there seems a lot of knowladge up in here. anywho were i live in spain a Litre of glow fuel 15% nitro (dunno rest) costs about 12 $$$
i know its like a fortune! for a litre i mean thats like 10 runs if not less (for my little 1/10 car) well
iwas just wondering if i can homebrew my fuel. i rekon i can get hold of methanol, (nitro might be hard) but castor oil i have no clue about? what is it and were can i look for sum? there is high quality syntetic oil called motul its 100% syn. ester???. i dunno if i can use it should i try mixing sum in my reg glow fuel to see if it evenly mixes or should i buy sumfing else???? what replacment i should get for nitro ??? or do i need it im in south of spain and its like 15oC pretty dry. well hope u guys can help me a bit.

Also do a search using "castor oil" as the criterion. In Europe, Castrol M is one of the oils commonly used, I believe...or it's been replaced with a different oil, but Castrol is a major player in the European model business.
