Sidewinder Fuel
I have a full gallon of Sidewinder fuel 20% nitro 10% oil..That I normally run in my Traxxis Sport Max, but it is sidelined needing repairs..
My question is can this fuel be used in my airplanes, without damaging the motors. Motors range from Os 91 fx to 46 ax..
Thanks

RE: Sidewinder Fuel
no.
Airplanes have prolonged full throttle operation, for which you need more oil.
Cars have high revving engines with more fuel flow (meaning more oil), with high power durations very short. That is why they need less oil % in the fuel.

RE: Sidewinder Fuel
I suggest you use 10 or 15% nitromethane in these engines and 18% oil. You can add castor to bring the oil up. 10% oil will not be enough for these engines. The old fuel mixing dinosaur.
