RE: klotz nitro power additive
Klotz is an oil additive for gas or glow fuel.

In my Wildcat 2/4 cycle 20/20 fuel I also add 1.5 oz of Klotz Techniplate KL-200.

RE: klotz nitro power additive
I am planning on mixing 2.5ozs of klotz castor oil to a Gallon of Wildcat 15% nitro - 18% oil to break in my new OS FS56-a 4stroke. The 18% oil is 16% Synthetic and 20% castor. If I add 2.4 ozs castor this will give me 20% oil mix. I want the castor to leave a good film on the parts but don't want to screw-up breaking in this engine. Any suggestions?

Klotz does sell nitro. Both pure and mixed with oil. The nitro-oil is shippable

RE: klotz nitro power additive
Thanks Greg. I just looked on the Klotz website and read that there Castor will not mix with synthetic oil. I guess I will have to us the Wildcat that I already bought the way it is. 15/18.

RE: klotz nitro power additive
If you want a to make at least 1 gallon 10/10 using Nitroil you cannot get the oil content up to 10%. One Pint of Nitroil will give you the 10% nitro but only 3.6% oil content. There are 128 Oz's in a gallon. 10% of 128 is 12.8 Oz's of nitro. Now you have 140.8 Oz's of nitro/methanol mix. 10% oil is 14.8 Oz's of oil. You need to add 10.6 Oz's more oil to get your 10% if you dump in a pint of Nitroil to a gallon of Methanol. This was easier to figure out to make 1-gallon-Plus than 1 gallon even.

Yes. 1 Pint Nitroil to 1 gallon Methanol plus 10.5 ozs of oil. That will give you 10% oil an 9.5% nitro. Add 1 oz more of the nitro to account for the 10.5 ozs of extra oil you needed to add and that will top it off at 10%.
