I'm after anyone who has put hostile rear MXT's on desperado rear wheels.... I know the wheel is 10mm wider than the T but I searched some hpi forums and a couple of people have done it and said it worked out fine but can't find any pics... I want them for my hurrax but the 5T wheels have too much positive offset to work, they'll rub on the steering arm, and I've also already got the desperados.

I can't say for sure, but I think they would work. I have a set of front MXT's that I tried mounting on desperado rims (the rims say they fit 5b rear, 5t front, and 5t rear, right?). Well, I can say for certain that the desperado rims are too wide for front MXT's by at least 10mm. The way the fronts fit on the rim makes me think that the rears would fit alright (but again, I have no direct experience with the rear MXT's). I know that it's not the exact answer you're looking for, but I thought I would give you whatever little help I could.

thanks for the info...I guess if the fronts are 10mm off but work ok then the rear being same 10mm off should work too....got any pics of them mounted.

I've been digging around some more and found some pics....evildomain from a couple of other forums put MXT rears on desp rears on his rampage...they fit and look perfect.
he used proline 5t foams 6303-00 in all 4.
These should look and work awesome on my pyrad...I wanted the bigger diameter tires to keep it truggy size , the stock pyrad wheels are in between the 5b and 5t wheels so i didn't really want to go smaller.

I think these should hook up on my track

You should post a pic when you get those tires all mounted and put on the car. I'd love to see how it looks.
