RE: Went for the 5T and passed up on the XL
hey, been traveling across country all day, but im on the ground again.
The meter is actually a hour meter and a rpm gauge which works live as well as records your max rpm for each run.
and I got it for a steal about 1/3rd of what was put into it, not bad for only having a few tanks threw it..
I was planning on doing my own build but it's just insane the amount of cash you can tie up doing it new.. Case and point this one has about 7k wrapped up in it... so thankfully wont be getting that hit.. Oh and bonus Im getting all stock parts spare engine, all tools required to work on it etc the full kit to play with this.. When I get back to WA ill get some video for ya and some more pics..

What's the tube connected to the gas cap? Is it an alternate fueling point so you don't have to take off the body to fuel the truck? I've been interested in that mod for awhile and am thinking of doing it, but haven't mainly due to laziness and also didn't know if there was a kit out there or if I would have to rig something up on my own which I could easily do.

Seems to me like a air vent for the tank, if it isn't there it will make the tank implode and making the carb/engine not able to suck more fuel into the engine and therefore making it running lean and stop. Is it a one way valve i see at the end of the vent-pipe?

I've never seen that on a baja. I've got 2 of them. B and T.

Just as on FG, i have made a similar "setup" on my gas cap by using a grease nipple, cut the spring inside off a bit so the ball moves just a hair to let the air out, but no fuel as the fuel drags the ball with it and therefor closes the hole.
