Clone of V1 Zynit... = Bad Problematic
However I agree the Zynit has a very Jato'ish look. The real thing looks way nicer, noyb has one.
The sad part about this clone is that its almost the same price as the Original (V2) and the original is Superior.
Why not shell out a little more to get a lot more car.... See the KM Baja 5b/t was considerably cheaper than the HPI.... This however is not that much cheaper than the original. Making it absolutely pointless.

According to this thread, it appears to be a good platform??? Do you mean the Hurrax itself, or the fact that its been cloned?

The platform is great, there were problems (a ton from what I understand) with the V1's of the Hurrax, which is what this seems to be a clone of.

RE: NEW 2011 KM X1 SHAFT DRIVE 4WD BAJA SC 5B KING MOTOR
I guess when you consider the price of pipe and motor etc it works out a fair bit cheaper....as it stands it's still cheaper than the V2 hurrax roller, however Sebastian the owner of hurrax did say that it was copied from the V1 so buyer beware. if hurrax oem parts don't fit you'll be left with a lemon.
I got the V2 pyradRS and it's very solid and has been super reliable so far. hurrax also use different plastics for different applications for durability and it certainly works...most clones seem to use the same stuff for all the plakky parts so that could spell trouble too.
Sure as eggs are eggs someone will pick one up...I just hope they're on a forum somewhere sop we can see what happens
Should run a book on what's next to be plagiarized my guess is 5sc first, then MCD V4 then after it's release it'll be the hurrax toyxc....nothing left after that.

I'm guessing, like with the 5b clone KM made, a lot of parts will be interchangeable. Are the V1 and V2 versions that dissimilar?

contact Kris at dps, he's the hurrax Aussie distributer. the V1 had niggles but not any major flaws..hurrax have stuck with it and look like they've sorted the problems out...i'm real happy with mine, it's only rc that has never needed upgrades out the box i've owned...the RS has all the necessaries already so figure that in to the initial price and it works out to be good value.

RE: NEW 2011 KM X1 SHAFT DRIVE 4WD BAJA SC 5B KING MOTOR
I have to admit that i bought two of this X1...
My brother and me got one each. As it seems, they are not very good. one had lots of loose screws all over. Cogwheels missing screws to hold it in place and the other could not turn the weels around as it locked up. Took alot of repair before we found the error.
While driving this RTR cars(ready to run), we found that it also needs alot of adjustments as they cant go in a straight line. They only spin out of control.
another friend of me bought km baja 5b. Function much better and had no problems at all.
Wish i have found this forum earlier....
I orderd some parts for the zynit and the zynit part looked much better. So the clone has probably weaker parts as well.....
