Default cy chrome engine covers

When is someone going to make this part in billet form ? im sick of these covers peeling and looking like crap after a few months .

true dude, but at the same time, would cost a bomb prob & also be pretty heavy :s

probably better off getting a head kit wit an anodized head & not use the cover at all

yeah but all say not using the cover causes overheating and engine failure which happened to me once when i used that anodized head without the cover .

I just can't get myself to think that this setup provides enough cooling to the head.

Actually the cover on allows for more cooling as it directs the air from the flywheel over the head.  Head kits like the ADA use more surface area to achieve cooling.

your wrong the cover must stay on because the air from the fly wheel goes up and is caught from the cover to circulate around the head . without the cover you will cook your piston ring
