Nutech Bashing before the rebuild
Took the nutech out with Noyb (he took the vid Thx bro!) and decided to have some fun before i rebuild it with alloy/buggy wheels/buggy gearing for racing. These Rovan FG Tire clones are Excellent!
Anyway the only thing that happend was loose exhaust and a loose screw that held the rear/left shock end onto the lower a-arm flew off. But Noyb and I decided to do a few laps around the place with his Zynit. I was surprised right off the line the Zynit flew off but I started to get closer and right at the first turn Noyb wipes out and I hit him at pretty fast speed. I snapped off the threaded portion of the drive cup that held his front right wheel on. Ooops
Here is some vids

Bbuzzard!!! you better watch out! The hurrax lost a drive cup but your XB is going straight to the junkyard! You better bring it son!

RE: Nutech Bashing before the rebuild
I have to give it to Nutech\Sherv, the car took a beating today, I dont even dog my t1000 like that and it's upgraded to handle that type of abuse.. The damage to the Zynit is minor had I stocked that spare I'd be back and running..[&:] That's the hardest I've seen a nutech driven in person and I have to say I was impressed.. Now if we can get him to continually run with us that would be even better!

Hey Sherv, I just watched your videos and honestly your "better bring it attitude" should be kept in check, because your Nutech aint all that fast. Hell my almost 40 pound Redcat MT with its stock 26cc in it is almost as fast as your rig! No offense just sayin if you want to talk smack "you better be bringin" a faster car!

In a race between your Nutech and Obeasts XBe there is no comparison, you wouldnt even get close enough to nibble on his dust, much less be able to send it to the junkyard....lol

I was talking about Bbuzzard but thanks captain obvious. Plus all the trash talk between Bbuzzard and I is friendly/not serious fun since we know each other.
Anyway parts from team zmc/freeprawn racing will be here tomorrow so I can begin the rebuild.

So basically what you're saying I need to be wary of Nutech parts when I am passing it, correct? Duly noted and thanks for the heads up!

Sherv I really think you need to open up the high end screw on the TB2! sounds really flat.

Hopefully DHL will deliver today... They tried on monday then sent it back to Ohio for some reason then said customs needs to take a look at it again... Now it is coming back to Washington DC. It makes no sense.

Errr.. Isnt that a Redcat tank?? Looked like it...

I agree and Scott from Vancouver hobbies said the same thing but one thing the video doesn't show is that the gas tank doesn't vent properly and I did not bother with the mod since my new chassis will have an mcd style tank.

It looks like a Redcat tank, and if it is, make sure its venting properly as well.

what up with your front wheels why are they point out so goofy? 1 is pointed 1 way and the other is pointed another?the only reason you went to ELECTRIC is cause you could not handle TUNING a real GAS car[sm=cry_smile.gif][sm=cry_smile.gif][sm=wink_smile.gif]

RE: Nutech Bashing before the rebuild
Those are actually the BACK tires....its called toe in. hehe
As far as tuning goes, its a 2 stroke gas motor they are a joke to tune. I'm sure you could ask RonE, Grizzledcamudgen, Dodginbulls, SLhawkins and Loganvass how my tuning skills are considering i've tuned on their motors for them.
